1) Purpose & Scope
This Code applies to employees, management, interns, contractors, suppliers, and any third party acting on behalf of AIM MÜHENDİSLİK SAN. VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. (“AIM”). All covered parties must comply with this Code and applicable laws.
2) Core Values
Integrity, respect, fairness, safety, quality, confidentiality, and accountability guide all decisions and behavior.
3) Legal & Ethical Compliance
AIM complies with laws on anti-corruption, anti-bribery, anti-money laundering, and conflicts of interest. Gifts and hospitality are not accepted; only branded promotional items are excepted. Conflicts of interest must be disclosed promptly; no benefit that could influence decisions may be accepted.
4) Fair Competition & Trade Compliance
AIM adheres to antitrust/competition laws, import-export controls, and sanctions regimes. Market sharing, price fixing, bid rigging, or sharing competitively sensitive information is prohibited.
5) Human Rights & Labor Standards
Zero tolerance for discrimination and harassment. Forced and child labor are prohibited. Equal opportunity applies; hiring and advancement are merit-based.
6) Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
AIM provides a safe and healthy workplace. HSE requirements—including ATEX where applicable—and related documentation are rigorously managed. Sustainable practices are encouraged to minimize environmental impact.
7) Information Security, Confidentiality & Personal Data
Confidential information, trade secrets, and intellectual property of customers and partners are protected. Personal data is processed in line with applicable law and the company’s Data Protection & Privacy Statement.
8) Company Assets & Communication
Equipment, facilities, software, and information systems are used solely for legitimate business purposes. Email, internet, and social media use are subject to company policies.
9) Quality & Engineering Integrity
Quality standards, technical accuracy, and traceability govern design, procurement, installation, and commissioning. Documentation remains complete, current, and audit-ready.
10) Reporting, Whistleblowing & Non-Retaliation
Suspected violations or ethical concerns may be reported to [email protected]
11) Enforcement & Consequences
Violations may lead to disciplinary action, contract termination, and legal proceedings. Contractual rights are exercised in case of supplier/contractor breaches.
12) Effective Date, Ownership & Updates
This Code is effective as of 26 September 2024. Owner: Mukaddes Yelken. It is reviewed periodically with HR and Compliance/Legal and updated when necessary.
